From Engineering Exposition
This annual E-Expo event is a competition where any student at the Speed School of Engineering can enter and present the research that they are working on whether it is actual research for a professor, for the students’ design class or just something extra that the student wants to present in this competition.
Judging, Process and Awards
The judges for the competition are composed of current and retired engineers or professional engineers who are typically alumni of the Speed School of Engineering. These judges will be taken around the competition, giving each group of presenters 10 minutes to present and answer any questions, and will give each group of presenters a score based on several different criteria. After the competition, all scores will tallied to give each competitor their final score. The top competitors in each division will be given an award as well as a plaque in recognition of their accomplishments in their research.
All awards given for this research competition is generously donated by ElectroFin.
